(By Curtis) In this story it appears Matt is the main character so far. What we know about him is that he is a clone and a clone of el patron. Throughout this book Farmer never gives us an exact description about how matt looks but she does give us some clues to fill in the rest of the picture our self. An example of this is we know Matt is a clone of El Patron and Tam Lin says this.
This shows how Matt is an exact replica of El Patron so that
can give us some information about how he looks. So all the information we have
to go by is he is a 138 year younger version of El Patron.
I chose for Matt to be played by a younger version of Freddie
Highmore. I choose him because after reading the beginning of the book this is how
I imagine him to look. El Patron was described as thin and with long hair and
he looks like that. Also in this picture how is dressed is how I imagined him
to be dressed. Because he lives in a fancy house with important people coming
over all the time I expected him to wear somewhat fancy clothes like he is in
the picture.
Maria-
(By Grant)
Physical: Maria isn’t described in the novel. We do now that
she is American because he father is a senate of the United States. But with a
Spanish last name Mendoza, we can assume she looks somewhat Hispanic. So this
make me feel that dark brown and brown eyes. Because I have nothing to go off of I feel
that she is average height and build for her age group. This makes me think of Sarah
Hyland.
Personality: Maria is
a kind caring person who doesn’t really understand why clones are so different
then humans. She asks, “ Want me to peel
you one, Matt?” even after she finds
that he is a clone. Page 27
Sarah Hyland is known for her role as Haley Dunphy in Modern Family
and Molly in Annie.
Celia-
(By Akash)
She had Black Hair and olive skin like Celia. (Page 9)
This was enough for me, right when i had heard that i though of Salma Hayek. In this novel she is a sweet thoughtful and caring person much like a mother and when i think of celia i think of Salma Hayek. Also she is a mexican women much like Celia (i think celia is mexican because she speaks lots of spanish and this takes place near mexico.) and is currently 45 and i believe the celia is close to this age as well.
El patron-
(By Grant)
El Patron: : He is
described as being extremely thin, shoulder length white hair neatly combed
beside a face so seamed and wrinkled, it hardly seemed real. Taken from page
54. This makes me believe he looks like
Count Dooku from star wars (Christopher Lee)
Why I chose Christopher lee.
I believe that El Patron is a little bit scary looking and so is
Christopher lee. It also says that he is
wrinkle and at age 140 we would assume that he has some age spots or liver
spots. So does Christopher lee.
Also El Patron is very boss and demanding. For example he says “Do as you told your told
,girl.” Page 105. He is also quite greedy “he preferred to receive gifts rather
than give them.” Page 107. Christopher Lee has played character similar to
this, very well I might add.
Christopher Lee Bio: Sir Christopher Lee has one
of the most impressive portfolios in Hollywood. Having stared in over 270 movies.
He has played everything from the evil Count Dooku in Star Wars to Willy Wonka’s father in Charlie and the chocolate
Tam lin-
(By Evan)
Page 63. Says that he is scottish with brown hair, scars all over his face and arms. Bright blue eyes. Played by Gerard Butler.
Furball-
(By ?)
In this story Fur ball is Marias dog that follows her
everywhere. Fur ball isn’t really a major character in this story but still a
part. Some information we get in this story about how the dog looks is on page
85 when Tam lin talks about how he wants to vacuum fur ball up and he says he
could probably do it. This implies that fur ball is a small dog because he says
it could fit up a vacuum. Tam lins exact description of fur ball is a shrill,
rat sized dog that forgets his house training when he gets excited.
I choose this dog to represent fur ball. I choose this one
for 3 main reasons that I think that it aligns with the fur ball in the book.
Firstly, it is small and approximately the size of a large rat. Secondly, this
dog looks excited and fur ball in the book usually seems excited. Lastly, the
dog looks like it is a ball of fur because it has a lot of fur. It never
directly says this in the book but I can guess that it got the name fur ball
for a reason.

I really liked the picture of Furball. The descriptions and points of why you chose the pictures were thorough, although there were gramatical errors that could be corrected.
